Hello

I'm therapist associate Lacey Bass. I provide therapy for women in Fort Wayne and online.

My Story

Hi there!  I'm Lacey Bass.  I'm a mental health counselor associate, practicing under Missy Blackmer, LMHC.  I enjoy working with individuals that struggle with anxiety, depression, and trauma. My motto is “Life is a journey, not a destination.”

My Approach to Counseling

I believe that healing happens in a safe, supportive environment where clients feel seen, heard, and valued. My counseling style is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based. I draw from evidence-based approaches including:

  • Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) for trauma in older teens and women.

  • Cognitive-Behavioral Strategies to help clients build new skills and perspectives

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients learn the skills they need to improve distress tolerance, mindfulness and interpersonal relationships.

Areas of Focus

  • Trauma and PTSD recovery

  • Anxiety, stress, and depression

  • Women’s issues and personal growth

How to Work With Me

I see clients both in-person at our Fort Wayne office and through secure telehealth sessions for clients across Indiana.

I currently accept:

  • Medicaid

  • Aetna

  • Anthem

  • PHP

  • Three Rivers

  • TriCare

  • Self-Pay

If you’re unsure about coverage, our team can help you verify your benefits before getting started.
