Professional Licenses

In the state of Indiana, I am a Mental Health Counselor Associate with a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Huntington University.  I have a certificate in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT) and am working towards additional modalities within a trauma focus.​

My Career

​My occupations have taken on many roles, from landscaping with hints of design work, customer service, to working as a licensed mental health professional. Each one of these roles, I found hints of who I was through it. Even working in landscaping, I always found ways to communicate what individuals desired for the beauty of their homes. Now, I get to facilitate “design work” in the inner beauty of an individual.

Specializations

​I have a passion for working with children, teens, and parents. I have appreciated working alongside children and teens learning to develop and adapt healthy coping mechanisms in the hopes of leading to a brighter future. I have also enjoyed teaching parents how to love themselves through “breaking generational patterns” in the process of learning themselves and their children. My additional goals are to work on obtaining certifications to focus on prenatal and postnatal healing in addition to assisting with the transition of new life.

The Personal Side

I am married to my husband of several years and got the blessing of raising two beautiful children. I also am a huge fan of homesteading and everything DIY. My favorite part of homesteading is watching the process unfold from an idea to a reality.
